FOOD PEOPLE LOVE

Town & Country Markets

Brand Identity

Since opening a neighborhood grocery market in 1957, Town & Country has always been passionate about nourishing their community. However, as the business expanded to additional neighborhoods, it operated under different names and brand identities (e.g., Bainbridge Island Town & Country, Central Market, Ballard Market, etc.). Turnstyle was enlisted to develop a new identity to unify all of their stores under a cohesive brand. The refreshed identity, with a charismatic ampersand at its center, celebrates the combination of good food and good people. It highlights everything there is to love about an independent, community market—from locally harvested staples and regional favorites to new flavors and inspiring recipes. The project included research, brand strategy, visual identity, advertising, packaging, store signage, and a robust new website.
